Emotional Literacy

Service Description

Children go through emotional development in a similar way to how they develop physically - in stages. Emotional literacy is not innate; it is learnt through social interactions, connection and attunement. Join us to learn about how we can support children to understand and express their own feelings as well as empathise with the feelings of others. This session will provide you with practical strategies to support children's communication, validate their feelings and better understand their behaviour through understanding their underlying feelings.

Cancelation Policy

Please note that this policy does not apply to free sessions. A participant must notify Connect.Ed by email if they wish to cancel their attendance at a professional development session. If notice of cancellation is provided more than 7 business days prior to the professional development session, the participant may choose to either receive a refund (less a $20 administration fee) or transfer to a different PD session within 3 months of the cancellation date, without fee or penalty If notice of cancellation is not provided within 7 business days of the professional development session start date, the registration fee will not be refunded and Connect.Ed may be unable to transfer your registration to a suitable professional development session substitute. Transfer of registration under these circumstances is subject to availability.
