This workshop will support participants to reflect on their role as an Educator. Participants will be supported to explore behaviours within the context of trauma and as a form of communication. Particular attention is given to identifying early warning signs of dysregulation and working in a preventative (rather than reactive) manner. Using a strengths-based approach, Educators will be supported to critically reflect and identify areas within the service which could be improved using a trauma-informed lens.
Please note that this policy does not apply to free sessions. A participant must notify Connect.Ed by email if they wish to cancel their attendance at a professional development session. If notice of cancellation is provided more than 7 business days prior to the professional development session, the participant may choose to either receive a refund (less a $20 administration fee) or transfer to a different PD session within 3 months of the cancellation date, without fee or penalty If notice of cancellation is not provided within 7 business days of the professional development session start date, the registration fee will not be refunded and Connect.Ed may be unable to transfer your registration to a suitable professional development session substitute.
