Kerra-Lee has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma, a Graduate Certificate in Education (Trauma-Aware Education) and a Graduate Certificate of Therapeutic Child Play.

 Kerra-Lee values connection above everything else. Her work is strongly influenced by interpersonal neurobiology and she is particularly passionate about supporting Educators to develop meaningful elationships with children, which provide opportunity for healing.

Kerra-Lee is a registered Yoga Teacher as well as a Children’s Yoga Teacher. She is passionate about incorporating body-based interventions to facilitate brain-body connection, particularly when supporting children to develop regulatory functioning.

She is an accredited facilitator of Cornell University’s Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training, as well as being an accredited facilitator of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) Resilience Skills Course.

With over ten years experience working with children, Kerra-Lee has had a broad range of experience; initially providing therapeutic residential care for children and young people within the child protection system. She has since worked in a consulting role, supporting various Early Learning Centres and Out of Hours School Care (OSHC) services to better understand child development and children’s behaviours.

 Kerra-Lee believes that professional collaboration, and working as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team, is critical to achieving the best outcomes for children.

 Kerra-Lee is passionate about trauma-informed education and care because she believes that every child has the right to feel safe, learn and thrive.
