Bridget is a new-graduate Speech Pathologist who completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at the University of South Australia. She has experience across a range of areas, including speech, language and social communication.
Bridget has completed three certficiates in Auslan at TafeSA, which allows her to incorporate visual language to support children with communication difficulties as well as read non-verbal cues effectively.
Bridget is passionate about supporting children and young adults facing communication difficulties and providing people with equal access to communication in order to thrive. She feels strongly about early intervention within the community as this empowers young children and provides them with the skills needed to grow and flourish in life. Bridget’s sessions are fun, creative and child-lead, allowing for children to feel motivated and excited to build their communication skills.
Outside of work, Bridget would be enjoying the outdoors, spending time with her partner or socialising with friends and family or exploring the beautiful sights of South Australia.
