Amy is a compassionate and committed Developmental Educator with a Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education. She brings a person-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based approach to her work, supporting children and families to achieve individualised goals and navigate everyday routines with confidence.
Amy is passionate about empowering families through tailored strategies that foster independence, emotional regulation, and positive developmental outcomes. Her work is grounded in building strong, supportive relationships focused on the unique strengths and needs of each child. She values collaboration and works closely with caregivers to ensure strategies are practical, sustainable, and aligned with family values.
Amy has experience supporting children with diverse developmental profiles, and her calm, thoughtful approach creates a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. Her professional values align with best practices in inclusion, advocacy, and early intervention, ensuring each child has the opportunity to participate meaningfully in their community.
Outside of her work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors walking her two cocker spaniels, Moe and Mabel. She loves travelling, exploring new places, going to the beach, trying new restaurants and cafes and spending quality time with her partner, family, and friends.
