Kerra-Lee
Director
Kerra-Lee is the Director of Connect.Ed, leading a multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed early intervention for children and families, alongside professional development and support for educators.
With over ten years’ experience working with children and caregivers, Kerra-Lee has worked across child protection, therapeutic residential care and in partnership with early childhood settings. Her early work supporting children and young people in the child protection system continues to shape her approach, particularly her focus on helping educators understand the impact of trauma and respond in ways that support safety, regulation and connection.
Kerra-Lee’s work is grounded in interpersonal neurobiology and a deep belief that relationships are central to development. She is passionate about supporting educators to build meaningful, attuned relationships with children, recognising these as critical foundations for learning, wellbeing and long-term outcomes.
As a registered Yoga Teacher and Children’s Yoga Teacher, Kerra-Lee integrates body-based approaches into her work, supporting children to develop regulation through safe, responsive and embodied experiences.
Kerra-Lee holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma, a Graduate Certificate in Education (Trauma-Aware Education), and a Graduate Certificate of Therapeutic Child Play. She is also an accredited facilitator of Cornell University’s Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.
In her role, Kerra-Lee provides clinical oversight, facilitates professional development and offers trauma-informed supervision to allied health professionals. She works collaboratively with families, educators and services to create consistent, supportive environments around each child.
As a mum, this work is deeply personal and continues to shape her understanding of what children need to feel safe, supported and able to thrive.
