Louise
Occupational Therapist
Louise is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of South Australia in 2023. She brings enthusiasm to her work with children and young people with diverse developmental needs, including Autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities.
Louise is passionate about providing therapy that is not only effective but also meaningful and enjoyable for the children she supports. She places strong emphasis on building trusting, respectful relationships with each child, and equally values connecting with their families, caregivers, and educators. By working collaboratively, Louise ensures that her therapy approach is holistic and consistent across different environments, helping to achieve lasting and meaningful outcomes.
Her therapeutic style is neuroaffirming and strengths-based, honouring each child’s individuality and unique abilities. Louise’s sessions are play-based, fun, and tailored to meet the interests and goals of each child, supporting them to feel confident, capable, and empowered as they learn and grow. In addition to direct therapy, Louise is skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering clear, timely reports to support goal setting, NDIS planning, and school-based interventions, providing accurate documentation that reflects each child's progress and supports collaborative decision-making.
Outside of work, Louise enjoys exploring new places and going on adventures, practising pilates, or curling up with a good book.
