Psychosocial Therapy
Our Psychosocial Therapists support children with their emotions, relationships, and confidence. They focus on how children understand and respond to the world around them, helping them feel more secure, connected, and capable.
Support may include:
Developing emotional regulation (e.g., identifying and managing big feelings)
Building social skills, like making friends, sharing, and working through conflict
Strengthening executive functioning (e.g., planning, following instructions, shifting attention)
Enhancing self-esteem and confidence
Supporting with transitions, such as starting school or adjusting to change
Helping children make sense of tricky experiences in a safe, supported way
Our approach is playful and relationship-based, working in partnership with caregivers to ensure strategies can be carried over into everyday life.
