Educator Wellbeing

3 Hours

Embark on a journey of self-care!

This workshop provides an insightful overview of the various types of stress, distinguishing between positive stress, tolerable stress, and toxic stress.

Participants will engage in reflective discussion on vicarious trauma, exploring the psychological changes that can occur when repeatedly exposed to trauma within the context of their work. The session will equip participants with practical self-assessment tools to identify risk factors and symptoms of vicarious trauma.

By delving into the neurobiology of self-care, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to safeguard their wellbeing amidst the challenges of working in complex settings. Join us to prioritize your wellbeing for yourself (and, in turn, enhancing your capacity to support the children and families you work with!)
