Laura completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Flinders University in 2022 and has experience supporting children across a variety of communication areas, including speech, language, literacy, fluency, AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) and social communication.
She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with children and those closest to them to achieve their communication goals. Laura believes every child deserves to be understood, respected and empowered to communicate in ways that are authentic to them. Her approach to therapy is neurodiversity-affirming, client-centred and strengths-based. By tailoring therapy to each child's unique strengths, interests and goals, she strives to create a safe and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable being themselves while building confidence, self-advocacy, autonomy and meaningful communication.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her family, catching up with friends over coffee, keeping active at the gym and walking along the beach.
